Winners determined by clocking order with Unikon timer. Replacement birds accepted free until June 1. $10 buy-back, other birds will be auctioned off. September 2, 2012 - Washington State Racing Pigeon Organization Annual Young Bird Futurity
$200 per bird (WSRPO dues and perch fee included). Must be at least 18 years old to enter.
The race will be from Redmond, OR, 300 miles, a solid station with typically 1300 ypm speeds +/- the winds. The loft will be handled by veteran Spokane flyer, Ed Ulbright, from his beautiful home in Greenbluff, WA.

here will be a Claimer Race run along the same lines as the Horse Racing model:
The $15 buyback will secure the breeder’s ownership of the bird and an additional $50 will enter it into this race within the race ($65 total). If the breeder chooses not to submit the $65 (total) buyback / Claimer race entry, the bird will be offered through a lottery for people to “claim.” The purchaser has ownership rights to the bird (at the conclusion of the race) and wins any prizes won in the “Claimer Race.”
Any birds not claimed will remain property of the host and will only be eligible for the regular WA State Race prizes. The breeder “buy backs” will be open until 7pm the night before the race and any birds not bought back will be offered for the “Claimer Race.”

Birds will be clocked using an approved EBSS; all birds arriving together will be designated by drops and will split the prizes evenly. Once entered, all birds become property of the host of the WSRPO One Loft Race. Birds that are not retrieved by the owners within 14 days of close of race will become property of the loft manager. Any disputes or discrepancies will be resolved by the race committee.
Ship your birds March 15th through April 30th to: Eric Houchin 4132 E. Regina Mead, WA 99021 509-465-1576. Replacements being taken until June 15th.

Plans are to have guest speaker(s) and a quality auction to accompany the normal State Race festivities.
