USDA Regulation of Birds Not Bred For Research

Below is a link to download the comments pertaining to USDA regulation of birds not bred for research, which were crafted by the AU's lobbyist and submitted to the Federal Register in November 2004. We have previously reported to members that we are seeking a variance as we are a carefully self-regulated national organization and promote the proper and humane care of the registered, pedigreed homing pigeon.

The USDA has indicated they are making a review of all comments posted to the Federal Register and will be providing a summary. When that summary is available, we will advise members.
